Today’s report is brought to you by Tom and Kathy Leone: Tom and Kathy are trail builder sponsors on the Noque’. Without the support of folks like Tom and Kathy we would not have the excellent trails we have come to expect. If you see them, say thanks.
Trail Builder sections are available. Please visit www.noquetrails.org and follow the links. You too can be feted in an up coming grooming report.
Forestville: Today Andy is grooming Animoosh, Noque to the pines loop, Chiwaji bypass, Mukwa, with the bully and down to NMU with Ginzu. He may get Bagwaji, Chiwaji hills, Gookookoo and Migizi if time permits.

Way too Long Grooming Report:
I trust you are both recovered from the Noque’, if not from any ill advised post race over indulgence. Today’s report is being written by the normal grooming report writer’s evil twin; the one with the new snow bike. I tend to get confused up by the whole evil twin plot lines and am often tricked by the “which one is evil” twist so it may actually be the other guy is evil. In any case, I am hooked. Never having been a “good boy” (or good old man for that matter), I am always surprised when I get a nice birthday or Christmas present. It was clearly over budget but I am on a first name basis with the budget director. Besides, the grooming report critic felt our snow bike trail comments lacked adequate flavor and depth due to reliance on second hand information. In any case, I will be on the bike today. So, instead of spotting me carrying fat Elvis on skis I’ll have to carry him on my bike. See you out there.
Saux Head: Trail was rolled packed and dragged Sunday, the 26th. The plan is to groom and set track today, the 27th, but if overheating persists will try on Tuesday when temperatures are cooler.
Big Bay Pathway: Big Bay Pathway was groomed on January 24th. Due to the occasional rain and wet/heavy snow, the tracks a few imperfections. Hidden Grin is currently in fair condition.
Fit Strip: Fit Strip was groomed Wednesday. After an inch of overnight snow the trails should be in very good shape. Fit Strip is groomed weekly or as conditions warrant.
Snow Bike South Trails: Trails were plowed Saturday and again Sunday. Trails will be firm with some loose snow in small areas. After an inch of overnight snow the trails should be in very good shape.
Snow Bike North Trails: As of Tuesday night all North Trails in the system are rideable and firm. Riding will be great today. After an inch of overnight snow the trails should be in very good shape.
THE FORESTVILLE TRAIL HEAD CHALET IS OPEN! Chalet hours are 7 AM to 10 PM and rental equipment is available between 10 and 4. Space is still limited during construction but come in and enjoy the fire and company.
