Way Too Long Grooming Report: Of course, some are convinced “silly season” lasts twelve months in the Grooming Report Writer’s Guild (and who am I to argue?). Regardless that, we are not into “Win-a-Bet” ski season. We are however in the heat of the Last Ski of the Season contest.   Entrants are submitting real ski photos showing enjoyable outings and no one wants to be left out.  The six day forecast continues to show freezing overnight temperatures and highs in the 30s(f) so you still have a chance to get out.  Don’t forget to submit your photo.  Prizes will be awarded for not only being the last to ski but so too for creativity, originality, costuming and charismatic animals.   See Sten’s entry submitted yesterday.  I should add, under withering interrogation, we learned the photo was from May 4.  Note the dusting of new snow.  Next you will see a shot of the hill just east of 510 taken on Cinco de Mayo.  On the 5th the parking area was bare so skier(s) had to walk up to 100 feet to the snow field.  I have a dumb-things-I-godda-do list today so may not get out so you are on the honor system.

See you out there.
