The Marquette Trails Festival Criterium Race classes will be capped at 30 people.
The race is held on the main loop at Rippling River Resort. The loop is a 1/2 mile, paved, and oval-ish shaped.
The Youth Race
- Ages 16 and under. There will be a podium for both Boys and Girls.
- The Youth Category will race 2 laps around the same loop in the campground for a 1-mile race.
The Klunker Race
- No age categories. Men and Women will compete together in this race.
- No road bikes. Dust off your best “klunker”, whether it’s a beach cruiser, dirt jumper, or your daughter’s huffy. This is a FUN category. If your bike looks too fast or doesn’t fit the “klunker” definition, you can’t race in this category.
- The Klunker Category will race 3 laps around the same loop in the Campground for a 1.5 mile race.
Women’s & Men’s
- No age categories.
- There will be a podium for Men’s & Women’s.
- You can use road bikes, or whatever bike you consider as your fastest bike on pavement!
- Men’s and Women’s will race separately for 20 minutes plus 3 laps around the main loop in the Rippling River Campground. The loop is just short of a half-mile.
