Thank you Trail Builders:
Today’s report is brought to you by Bud and Marilyn Hart. Without folks like Bud and Marilyn we would not be able to enjoy the great skiing we have come to expect. So, if you see them, say thanks.
If you have not done so, please renew your membership.
Forestville Real Grooming Report: This morning we did smooth skate lanes on noque to 17, Animoosh, Chiwaji bypass, Mukwa, Migizi, Boohoo, and Zhing. The Bombi tracks from yesterday are still solid. I should add, we had some snowmobile ruts from someone between 14-16k on noque. Karl had to do a lot of shoveling so there may be some soft spots on the opposite side of the track.

Fit Strip: All trails groomed and tracked Thursday
Last grooming: Groomed & Tracked 1/10/19
Big Bay Pathway: Trails are now well covered and the Big Bay team will be out grooming getting trails ready as soon as possible.
Snow Bike Trails:
South Trails: All trails groomed except the Langford Link to Border Grill. Mike recommends 7 PSI.
North Trails: All traditionally groomed since last snow and cold temps have all trails very nice. Recommend 7 lb psi. The intersection of Blue Heron and Penstock is often slippery so a detour is groomed for bikers without studs.
Of course you can also post your own information on the FB page and you are encouraged to do so. Here is the link:

Too Long Too Read Grooming Report: Dog Etiquette Section: All the heads of state ski during “high season”. Yesterday’s Bombi grooming was not to be missed. I trust you were out. I ran into no less a personage than Kos with no less than 3 of his k9 charges. It is always nice to catch up with folks on the trail so we had a nice chat. The dogs took the opportunity for a nature brake and I complemented his smart dog for finding a place a safe distance away from the trail. You never want your dog to deposit brown wax on the trail because you have to clean it off. We do provide dog clean up gloves at the trail head. “No one wants a stupid dog” commented Kos as he recounted Mike’s bird Bodie’s faux pas on a recent trip to the Dakotas. Bodie got into no less than three porcupines in one week. Mike loved the dog and did not return him to Daisy Hill Puppy Farm but rather pulled the quills. “That is real love for your dog” said Kos. I should add, at the time, Kos was on his hands and knees scraping brown wax off the trail.
