2019 March 2, Grooming Report;

In any case, if you have not done so, please renew your membership.  There are K markers available. Your name and favorite picture can be here too.

New pictures from anyone will be appreciated.  I really mean this.  I agonize missing some Trail Builders.

And this just in, the mysterious “myself” from the list of volunteers is none other than Jon Mommaerts.  Be sure to thank him for his hard trail work.

Forestville Real Grooming Report: Andy didn’t get a chance to pack Bagwaji this morning (sick kid).  More sled packing will be necessary for Bagwaji and the Chiwagi hills.  Today you will find Bombi groomed and tracked Noque from FVTH to 510, Animoosh, and connections, Chiwaji bypass, Mukwa, Migizi, Gookookoo, Zhing and the campground loop.

As always, your feedback is appreciated via reply to this email or to FB.    Send in pictures and you too can get your K marker moved to the front of the line.  See the Nordic skiing FB page https://www.facebook.com/NTNNordic/

Saux Head: The rest of the Race Loop was rolled and dragged this morning.  And, the Peep O Day Loop and most of the Race Loop was groomed and track set.  Skiing will be great today.

Fit Strip: Groomed Tuesday night. Should be an awesome place today for a quick ski.

Big Bay Pathway:  Groomers will get out as soon as possible.

South Snow Bike Trails: East side of 553 is groomed and open (Jeep, Shirley’s, Chapel and Granite Point).  Please run lower pressure of 2-3psi. The crew was working the west side of 553 yesterday. Please be patient. Snowshoes welcome!

North Trails: Re-groomed The Pines and Penstock to pack down and fill the potholes. BLP Rocks through Collinsville to the trail head is solid. Lower Blue Heron is groomed for the first time since the storm but needs time to set. Foot traffic please wear snowshoes on Blue Heron, Silver Lead and Collinsville. A section of Upper Blue Heron is hijacked by tons of plow snow and ice and the recover operation is in progress.

Of course you can also post your own information on the FB page and you are encouraged to do so. Here is the link:

Too Long to Read Report:  Burning the candle at both ends is hard on grooming report writers. It will be nice to return to a place where an after dinner finger of Glenfiddich won’t set you back a Jackson.  More on how the rest of the world lives anon.  Returning from vacation is always good so you can rest up for your next vacation. Of course we get to live in a place the rest of the world enjoys on vacation.
