2019 March 3, Grooming Report;
Today’s report is brought to you by Dave and Joanne Buhl and family. Without nice folks like the Buhl family we would not have the great skiing we have come to expect.
In any case, if you have not done so, please renew your membership. There are K markers available. Your name and favorite picture can be here too.
New pictures from anyone will be appreciated. I really mean this. I agonize missing some Trail Builders.
Forestville Real Grooming Report: Very cold this morning and the equipment is with Andy. He is out cleaning up skate lanes with 900 and ginzu 84 on the Noque to the pines loop, Animoosh, Chiwaji bypass, Mukwa, Migizi, Gookookoo, Zhing, and the campground loop.

Deep snow on trail.
As always, your feedback is appreciated via reply to this email or to FB. Send in pictures and you too can get your K marker moved to the front of the line. See the Nordic skiing FB page https://www.facebook.com/NTNNordic/
Saux Head: The rest of the Race Loop was rolled and dragged yesterday morning and, the Peep O Day Loop and most of the Race Loop was groomed and track set. Skiing will be great again today.
Fit Strip: Groomed Tuesday night. Should be an awesome place today for a quick ski.
Big Bay Pathway: The trails are open and groomed. A big thank you to Terry’s Reynolds for making it possible!!!!
Nick, Terry and I spent 7 hours opening up and packing the trails. Terry and Dennis put in 4 plus hours grooming and trimming. Terry did a fantastic job of grooming Meditation, Bear Mountain and Hidden Grin.
They are in excellent condition!! DB
South Snow Bike Trails: East side of 553 is groomed and open (Jeep, Shirley’s, Chapel and Granite Point). Please run lower pressure of 2-3psi. The crew has been working on the west side of 553. Please be patient. Snowshoes welcome!
North Trails: The Pines, Penstock and BLP Rocks groomed again yesterday and many damages repaired. Blue Heron groomed up to the top of Upper Blue Heron where plow snow buried half mile of the trail, ridable with low psi. We thank Michele Basal for snowshoe packing on our newly created path over the mountainous plow snow on Upper Blue Heron.
Check out these before and after pictures.
Of course you can also post your own information on the FB page and you are encouraged to do so. Here is the link:

Too Long to Read Report: Last time I was at the trail it was like a scene from a bad western; you know; the music stops, people are quiet and look around. Then someone says, “who is the stranger?”. I expect next time it will be like returning from Ithaca only this time even the dog won’t remember me. I hope to see you there soon.
