EMERGENCY SAFETY EQUIPMENT FUNDRAISER

Giving Tuesday 2023

This GivingTuesday the NTN is excited to celebrate the mission of securing, maintaining, and promoting the use of non-motorized trails. These trails play a vital role in promoting health and well-being within our community. This year, we’re reaching out to you to help us enhance trail safety by supporting the purchase of essential safety equipment.

We’re aiming to acquire two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), strategically placing one at the South Trails Trailhead and another at the Forestville Trailhead. Additionally, we are seeking funds to procure a rescue sled for the Forestville Trailhead. To further enhance our capabilities, we’re also on the lookout for a donation of a used snowmobile dedicated to exclusively pulling a rescue sled out of Forestville, should the need ever arise.

Any extra funds raised will be directed towards safety supplies, with the possibility of establishing an emergency warming shed on the trail, equipped with necessary supplies.

Here’s a brief breakdown of what we’re aiming to achieve:

  • Purchase 2 AEDs
  • Acquire 1 Rescue Sled
  • Secure a donated old snowmobile for pulling the rescue sled
  • Obtain supplies for an Emergency Warming Shelter

Our total target for this initiative is $5,000 (Approx.).

Your support, no matter the amount, can make a significant impact on trail safety. Even a $5 donation can contribute to our cause. Donate below to make a difference today.

Thank you for considering our appeal and for being a valuable part of our community.
