Thank you Trail Builders: Thank you Trail Builders: Today’s report is brought to you by Superior Timing. Without folks like Superior Timing we would not be able to enjoy the great skiing we have come to expect. So, if you see Them, say thanks.

Forestville Real Grooming Report: Yesterday’s tracks are in good shape so Andy is grooming skate lanes on noque to 17, Animoosh, Chiwaji bypass, Muckwa, Migizi, cut acrosses and Wabaan. After that he plans to roll down to the railroad tracks if ice conditions are safe; it is time to begin preparing the race course. The section below the trail head to the rail road tracks are some of the most beautiful skiing on the entire system so if you see it is ready to ski you should add a few extra k to your plan.

Saux Head: John & Tracy rolled and combed on Tuesday (and I failed to tell you yesterday); and Tim set track that afternoon. The trail is in great skiing condition.
Fit Strip: All trails were groomed yesterday and are in excellent shape. Trails are groomed about once per week.
Big Bay Pathway: Too little snow in the woods so trails are closed. The Big Bay Trails are groomed for classic skiing and are through the rugged hills south of Big Bay. They are spectacular but need ample snow to cover the rugged terrain. We groom as weather permits so think cold and snow. Trails are just off Co Rd 550 in Big Bay.
Way Too Long Grooming Report: One can tell when things are falling apart by the types of complaints pouring in. Today is no exception. No less an expert than Jen commented over the weekend that we have to do something about the deer walking in the classic tracks. If they must walk on the trail please keep them to the other side of the skate lane. Furthermore, whoever is eating the bumper acorn crop; please deposit the caps OFF of the trail. Otherwise, everything would be excellent! I do hope you all got out yesterday. It was spectacular.
