2019 January 14, Grooming Report;
Thank you Trail Builders:
Today’s report is brought to you by Doug and Laurie Weesen. Without folks like Doug and Laurie we would not be able to enjoy the great skiing we have come to expect. So, if you see them, say thanks.
If you have not done so, please renew your membership.
ALSO, there are K markers available. YOUR NAME AND FAVORITE PICTURE COULD BE HERE!
Forestville Real Grooming Report: This morning Andy groomed the skate lanes on Noque to the pines, Animoosh, Waaban, the connectors, Mukwa, Migizi, Gookookoo. At press time he was hooking up the roller to get Bagwaji and Chiwaji hills. After rolling he plans to track both Bagwaji and Chiwagi hills.

Saux Head: Trails were rolled Friday and track set Saturday
Last grooming: Groomed & Tracked 1/12/19
Fit Strip: All trails groomed and tracked Thursday
Last grooming: Groomed & Tracked 1/10/19
Big Bay Pathway: Trails are now well covered and the Big Bay team will be out grooming getting trails ready as soon as possible.
Snow Bike Trails:
South Trails: All trails groomed except the Langford Link to Border Grill. Mike recommends 7 PSI.
North Trails: All traditionally groomed since last snow and cold temps have all trails very nice. Recommend 7 lb psi. The intersection of Blue Heron and Penstock is often slippery so a detour is groomed for bikers without studs.
Of course you can also post your own information on the FB page and you are encouraged to do so. Here is the link:

Too Long Too Read Grooming Report: Weather forecasting has become so good we can actually plan weeks in advance. The end of January looks to be a winter sports enthusiast dream. I can imagine Seymour Cray smiling now. When the wizard of Chippewa Falls invented the super computer and modern weather forecasting he must have dreamt of the day when one could buy their Noque’ ski wax in mid-January.
