Thank you Trail Builders:

Today’s report is brought to you by  Larry and Emily Lewis.     Without folks like Larry and Emily we would not be able to enjoy the great skiing we have come to expect.  So, if you see them, say thanks.  New pictures from anyone will be appreciated

If you have not done so, please renew your membership.

ALSO, there are K markers available. Your name and favorite picture can be here too.

Saux Head: Trails groomed weekly

Trails were rolled 1/21/19 and Tim will track set once today’s snow event is over.

Fit Strip: All trails groomed and tracked Sunday of this week

Last grooming: Groomed & Tracked 1/20/19 but I have not seen them.  Please give feed back.  I would add, people walk on the ski trails so there are foot prints.

Big Bay Pathway:  Dennis groomed Meditation and Hidden Grin last week but new snow has fallen.    Meditation is well covered and Hidden Grin is fairly well covered in most areas. We need more snow to ski the Bear Mountain loop.

Snow Bike Trails:

South Trails: South trails were groomed yesterday.  With the cold dry grippy snow riding should be spectacular.

5-7 psi on single track.

3-5 psi on the panked trails.

North Trails: All North Trails groomed Sunday and are in great shape.  Recommended tire pressure is 5-6 psi.

Of course you can also post your own information on the FB page and you are encouraged to do so. Here is the link:

Too Long To Read Report: Today is the day that early planners get out and purchase expensive hats. I have a full set of 20 really expensive hats. Some people wait until the last minute and get them on Wednesday but, just like for Christmas, I don’t wait until the last minute and shop on December 23rd. Only procrastinators shop on Christmas eve. Anyway, I made a financial planning decision almost a quarter century ago.  I figured one of these years I would pop that pesky aneurism and miss the race.  Now, 21 years later I have paid the full price each of the last Tuesday in January and the only way my family will come out ahead is if I ride this horse to the end and have that aneurism thing before the last Tuesday in January.  Hope springs eternal.

See you out there.

Sondo
