Forestville Real Grooming Report: What a mess with the ice. Branches and trees bent over throughout. Andy had to do a lot of cleanup but was able to groom and track with the Bombi on Noque to the pines and Animoosh. Ken will be grooming Gookookoo, Migizi, Mukwa, and chiwaji bypass cleanup and ginzu tracking this morning.

Too Long To Read Report:
First, sorry, no report yesterday. If you were in Marquette you didn’t have to ask why. However, if you live vicariously from Morocco or Panama you may have wondered if that grooming report writer finally popped that aneurism. No (thankfully for me anyway), I was on another mission that (if you can imagine) took precedence.
Anyway, unusual weather events are fun to experience. I remember reading a biology study where they toilet papered all of the trees in an ape’s enclosure to see if they would notice. You should see the videos. The zoo keepers hadn’t ever seen the great apes so animated. A snow or ice storm similarly changes our environment. We don’t get many ice storms so I do hope everyone got out to enjoy it. I could hear the surf from home and would have gone out had I not such an impressive “dumb stuff I godda do” list (like clean the drive and walk way). The only bummer of an ice storm is on occasions we don’t get snow on the back side. This year however, we got just the right kind of snow from the trailing edge of the storm system and trails will be spectacular thanks to a very busy day for Andy and Ken. They get a big thanks.
