Forestville Real Grooming Report: Tom took out the Bombi to 14k on the Noque’ and Animoosh and the connectors while a crew continues to work on the trail system to clear downed trees and debris from the significant snow over the past week.

Saux Head: Tim rolled the entire system yesterday but could not set tracks due to soft snow.  Continued cold temperatures will keep the dry snow soft so track setting may not be possible until tomorrow.

 

Fit Strip: Neil hopes to groom later today.

 

Big Bay Pathway:  All trails groomed and in great shape.

 

Snow Bike Trails:

 

South Trails: All trails groomed and rideable except for Wild Cat. Trails are very soft so use very low tire pressure in the range of 3-4 PSI

 

North Trails: Heavy snow on all trails.  Groomers are out today working but snow shoe walkers would help.

Too Long To Read Report:

When you look at a Swiss watch you figure there are smooth cut gears and jewels moving in unison delivering precise time reporting. One may thing that is how the grooming reporting work.  However, when you look under the bezel you see a contraption that would rival the best Rube Goldberg could design.  So, just like the great board game “Mouse Trap”, once in a while the contraption fails to execute the desired action.  We will endeavor to avoid such failures in the future.
