2019 February 24, Grooming Report;
Today’s report is brought to you by the John Reinersten Family. Without nice folks like the Reinersten Family we would not have the great skiing we have come to expect. New pictures from anyone will be appreciated. I really mean this. I agonize missing some Trail Builders.
In any case, if you have not done so, please renew your membership. There are K markers available. Your name and favorite picture can be here too.

Forestville Real Grooming Report: Heavy snow today has groomers parked and will begin cleanup tonight or tomorrow depending on conditions.
Way Too Long Grooming Report:
Given the repetitive nature of today’s report, we will move the Way Too Long Report and the Too Long To Read sections up in the order.
Well, yesterday Bob the Dinosaur paid the long price so we could have a short ski. Well, that’s what he gets for being a dinosaur I guess. But, wasn’t it great?
Too Long To Read Report:
When Robert (Bob) Isobar first invented his concentric lines to connect areas of like atmospheric pressure I’ surehe never expected they would be used to define “cyclonic bombs”. I remember life before such linguistic gymnastics. Getting ready for school we were bundling up to go out in the blizzard and I asked my parents about “real” blizzards; you know, the kind you read about. I always remembered the Children’s Blizzard on Jan. 12, 1888. I tried to imagine what it must have been like to cause such a tragedy. If you didn’t have a rope tied between the house and the privy it could be deadly. I was told we don’t have that type of storm here in the U.P.; that is only in places like Minnesota and Kansas. I was relieved to hear that and marched off to school. It is amazing the things your parents will tell you to make you feel better and go to school. Of course the tragedy lead to the National Weather Service and now we know church will be cancelled and we can plan on going powder skiing Sunday morning. Enjoy!
