2019 March 15, Grooming Report;
Today’s report is brought to you by Matthew and Laura Songer. The Songers have been long time Trail Builders. If you see them thank them for supporting the trails.
In any case, if you have not done so, please renew your membership. There are K markers available. Your name and favorite picture can be here too.
New pictures from anyone will be appreciated. I really mean this. I agonize missing some Trail Builders.
Forestville Real Grooming Report: Temperatures just fell to below freezing so moisture still remains in the snow. Groomers must wait for all water to freeze prior to grooming. A Bombi groom is scheduled for tonight so expect spectacular skiing tomorrow.

Too Long Grooming Report: Not having brought my army across the Rubicon I fear not the ides so I won’t even go there. However there is an important note for today. The great grooming report sculptor Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (or, like Elvis, I bet he could have gotten away with only his first name) used perspective when creating trail side markers. One such marker was 10’ tall so when viewed on a normal snow year the head appears in proportion to the rest of the body and only the right hand with the sling appears over sized. Yet, in big snow years or if viewed from a ladder one can see the head is way over sized. We have such a snow year and our signs appear aimed for the occasional Pembroke, Dachshund, Basset or Cardigan Welsh Corgi along the trail. Even short legged dogs get their day.
