Grooming Report November 12, 2019
Today’s report is brought to you by George, Deanna, Bernie and Winnie Stien. You too can be feted in an up coming trail report by purchasing your trail builder sign. Following the link on the www.noquetrails.org web site. I should add, this photo is from last March. Today you need not dig the snow to see the names.
By the way, sorry for not getting last week’s emailed reports on the site. Let me know if you need to catch up on old reports if you want a complete set and I will get them posted.
GROOMING INFORMATION: Skiing was great again yesterday. Each night we receive an inch or two of new dense lake effect snow. Trails are still thin and the steep hills on the Wagis are not open. Open trails include the Noque and Animoosh to the 16k mark at the pine plantation. Also open are inner loops including the Sprint loop.
Way Too Long Report: I hesitate sending report every day when conditions remain little changed. When things are good and unchanged it is easy to forget how things can be bad and unchanged. So, although I don’t believe in such things, I fear messing with the world order by failing to issue an update. Think snow so I can say something interesting(?).
Not Even Grooming Related: Check out the photo of Gerbil Loop below.
Our friends at Lapham Peak in Delafield, WI have snow making. The snow is always whiter on the other trail system. Although we are thankful for the natural snow, we are envious of their snow making.
NON-GROOMING INFORMATION: Be sure to purchase your membership. With more money we could provide better skiing. You don’t want to get caught skiing without an arm band. And, for you trail builders, don’t let your prime k marker spot go to someone else. We will be tracking you down in the days ahead. You can save yourself the time of reading another way too long email and the grooming report writer’s guild the time to write a way too long email. Call Kellie or go on line and renew. In any case, you know who you are. See you on the trails,
Sondo
