December 26, 2019 Grooming Report
ALL TRAIL USERS PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: The prolonged thaw has groomers parked again. Please be conscious of your tracks on all trails. Skis, bikes and feet leave tracks behind. If the base can not support your weight please consider an alternate sport. I expect the ski trails are still firm but have not been out yet today. If your skis simply leave normal tracks in the surface “corn”, by all means, enjoy a good ski. I expect it will be quite good today. I don’t have enough snow bike experience to have a good guess as to the quality of bike trails but the same rule applies. Remember, this too shall pass and we don’t want to find deep frozen ruts when the worm turns.
Forestville: No grooming today.

Way too Long Grooming Report: I doubt Clement Moore had any idea his literary creation would cause centuries of confusion. So, if you have had visions of sugar plums dance in your head, what did they look like? Anyway, as you celebrate Boxing Day say thank you to all the folks that are working the day job so the rest of society can goof off. Grooming report writers come to mind.
Saux Head: The trail system was groomed and track set today, Friday, 12-20-2019. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.

Big Bay Pathway: The Hidden Grin and Meditation Loops were groomed on Friday evening, 12/20. Both trails are in excellent condition. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.

Fit Strip: Fit strip is groomed once per week or as needed. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.

Snow Bike South Trails:
* South Conditions *
I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.

Snow Bike North Trails: trails are generally in good riding condition with a few softer spots. Recommended tire pressure: The Pine/Penstock/BLP Rocks 5 psi; Rest of the trails 4psi. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.
