December 23, 2019 Grooming Report
A note to all trail users during thaw cycles: Trails can get soft late in the day. Please be conscious of your tracks. Deep ruts from skis, bikes or feet will freeze in place and ruin the trail. Please avoid leaving any deep ruts or tracks. If the trails are too soft to support your weight please consider and alternate activity. This thaw appears to be short and trails will suffer little if any lasting damage (but think snow).

Yesterday
Forestville: Warm temperatures kept the groomers parked again last night.

Way too Long Grooming Report: We live in a wonderland of recreational opportunity. Some of us used snow shoes rather than skis yesterday. The smart move would have been water skis. It has been a few years since several of us skied down hill, cross country and water on the same day. Yesterday would have been ideal for a reprise triathlon. Look at that glass; and not a boat wake in sight. All we need is a boat that winters in heated storage (or someone that likes to winterize boats for fun). Any takers?
Saux Head: The trail system was groomed and track set today, Friday, 12-20-2019. Very good skiing condition.

Big Bay Pathway: The Hidden Grin and Meditation Loops were groomed on Friday evening, 12/20. Both trails are in excellent condition.

Fit Strip: Fit strip is groomed once per week or as needed.
