Way too Long Grooming Report: Skiers were living charmed lives up until the recent thaw. However November snow is like puppy love; one never knows if it will last. Now, we are in a long term relationship. This base isn’t going anywhere. It will take on some nicks and blemishes that we will live with. In the olden days there was no makeup. The icy, rutted surface was life until new snow came to the rescue. Now, running the Bombi turns a “no fun tour” into potentially near ideal conditions. If you can imagine, I have dumb things I godda do and may not get out. So, if either of you are goofing off today please do send in some pictures and comments. I expect skiing will be very good. I godda run and do some early Christmas shopping. I don’t like to wait until the last minute; some stores close early today.
Saux Head: The trail system was groomed and track set today, Friday, 12-20-2019. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.
Big Bay Pathway: The Hidden Grin and Meditation Loops were groomed on Friday evening, 12/20. Both trails are in excellent condition. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.
Fit Strip: Fit strip is groomed once per week or as needed. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.
Snow Bike South Trails:
* South Conditions *

Snow Bike North Trails: trails are generally in good riding condition with a few softer spots. Recommended tire pressure: The Pine/Penstock/BLP Rocks 5 psi; Rest of the trails 4psi. I expect the freeze has left some ruts and a very fast surface.
