April 18, 2020 Grooming Report
Today’s report is brought to us by the NTN Grooming Staff and Volunteers. If you see someone that is providing required services, please thank them. Please do what you can to help. Buy local.
Please help us continue to groom as long as possible. You may follow the link https://noquetrails.org/product/nordic-fund/ and contribute or feel free to contact the office or reply to this grooming report. No contribution is too small.
Check out last night’s Ginzu grooming!
Trail memberships can be purchased on the web site. Please visit www.noquetrails.org and follow the links. You too can be feted in an up coming grooming report.
SPRING SCHEDULE IN EFFECT: Trail Head is closed and the privy is locked. Practice save social distancing and enjoy the beautiful skiing.
Forestville: I figured out that Lori must have a clone or maybe she never sleeps. Last night she Ginzu groomed the Noque and Animoosh to 510! She also hit parts of Chiwagi. Skiing should be great today but please ski early. Afternoon tracks will be deep and hard to groom out.

Check out yesterday on the Noque near 10k mark
Way too Long Grooming Report: I trust everyone skied to 510 yesterday. Wow, I have never seen so much traffic west of 18k. It couldn’t have been better. Today looks like a repeat (and I am running out of time). I may get out today but its not looking so good right now. Please put in an interval for me.
Saux Head:
Tim groomed and set track Wednesday the 15th on the three loops and reported it was excellent.
The Wilson Creek section was not touched due to insufficient base conditions.
Big Bay Pathway:
No report at press time
Fit Strip: Grooming has been suspended. Expect some bare spots.
Snow Bike Trails:
North Trails: The Pines, Penstock, BLP Rocks, Collinsville to trail head loop was groomed again Wednesday afternoon. Ridable in low temperature for the next a few days.
South Trails: Grooming is done on the South trails for the season.
