2019 December 12, Grooming Report;  

 

Forestville Real Grooming Report: Andy did a quick clean up on the skate lanes of Noque’ and Animoosh to 14k including all inner loops.  We are keeping dry powder to use after today’s forecast 2”-4” snow event.

Saux Head: Finished rolling the rest of the trail system Wednesday.  The trail is well packed due to the cold temperature for good skiing.  Will postpone grooming the trail  due to the additional snowfall predicted today

 

Fit Strip: Upper loop is groomed and tracked yesterday and lower loop is roll packed.

 

Big Bay Pathway:  Big Bay Pathway near ready for setting classic tracks. We have completed brushing from the storms on Hidden Grin Loop, and with today’s fresh snow, will be in good shape.

 

 

 

South Snow Bike Trails:

As of Tuesday morning Jerimiah reports:  Granite point, main, Greywalls, Jeep plowed this morning. Variable conditions, air down.

As of Saturday morning the report included:

  • East of 553
  • Mt Mesnard loop (granite/jeep) & chapel spur in good condition, 4-6 psi.
  • Cx race course for today 3-5 psi, occasional soft spots.
  • West of 553
  • Main loop (benson/freak/smiley) groomed and getting good, 3-4.5 psi.
  • Other loops remain closed by trees for now, storm recovery continues.

 

 

North Trails: The Pine, Penstock and BLP Rocks loop are groomed and should be good for riding today.
