Way too Long Grooming Report: Sorry, no pictures today (unless you want to see the spectacular organization of my sock drawer. Well, truth be told, the socks are still just dark and white so I figured they organization level was GEFN as my father would say (Good Enough For Now) but my wax bench looks great. The smart guys and gals went surfing in the morning. North facing beaches and point breaks are quite mushy due to the gradual bottom slope. East facing beaches and point breaks are another matter. Did you look at the east facing beaches yesterday? I was quite surprised not to see anyone out. If you did go please let us know and send in some pictures.

As for today’s skiing, I recommend hitting the trails at 11 AM for the proper amount of new snow on top of the rock hard base. An inch of new packie snow will have fallen and married with the groomed base. It should be excellent.

As for the general public’s perception of the ski conditions, we need to get the word out that our base is excellent. The recent thaw did little to diminish the base. We have not seen such an excellent base all the way to the Dome in the last 20 years. Enjoy.

Saux Head: Groomers will get out following the snow event.
