Today’s report is brought to you by Craig and Phyllis Stien: Craig and Phyllis are trail builder sponsors on the Noque’. Without the support of folks like Craig and Phyllis, we would not have the great trails we have come to expect. If you see them, say thanks.
Trail Builder sections are available. Please visit www.noquetrails.org and follow the links. You too can be feted in an up coming grooming report.

Way too Long Grooming Report:
I do hope you got outside yesterday. Skiing at Forestville was quite nice regardless the new snow because it was quite fluffy and fast. The light air and snow showers were a bonus. And then we got to see a reenactment of the creation of the universe on national tv. Good and evil faced off in a pitched battle. Happily the forces of good vanquished evil 28 to 23.
Saux Head: Tim groomed and reset the track, 1/13/2020. Light snow Saturday night will have covered trails but it is fluffy snow.
Big Bay Pathway: The Hidden Grin Loop was groomed Friday the 10th. Light snow Saturday will have covered trails but it is fluffy snow.
If you do ski please be aware, this is classic only and you may find rough areas. The terrain quite rugged and does need a good deal of snow just to cover. Please let us know what you find. I have not been on the Big Bay trails yet (bad dog).
Fit Strip: Neil groomed Friday night. Light snow Saturday night will have covered trails but it is fluffy snow.
Snow Bike South Trails: Trails remain in very good shape with a light few inches of weekend snow. You will see some drifting in open areas. Friday night trails were groomed including Main Loop, Enchantment, Mt. Marquette/Blue Loop, and Black to Border Grill. Heads up as there are still some water hazards on jeep trail descent and a few scattered locations.
Snow Bike North Trails: All sections of North Trails are solid with good tractions. Drifting snow on trails near open areas were mostly cleared.
THE FORESTVILLE TRAIL HEAD CHALET IS OPEN! Chalet hours are 7 AM to 10 PM and rental equipment is available between 10 and 4. Space is still limited during construction but come in and enjoy the fire and company.
