Grooming Report Feb 28, 2019

Today’s report is brought to you by the newly probationary grooming report writer, Sondo.  When one takes a day off there are two big fears: First, one is the fear things fall apart and the disaster is blamed on the incumbent.  Second, one is afraid things run better than ever and you become what is known in the vernacular as toast.   Of course, the latter is today’s situation.

I am reminded of Francesco Anile’s Met debut.  When Aleksandrs Antonenko took ill in the third act Francesco had to jump on stage in sneakers and jeans to sing the final act of  Otello.  He wowed the crowd and no one talked about poor Antonenko’s illness.  Clearly I will have to up my game if I hope to allowed back in the cast.

Forestville Real Grooming Report:   The past two days of Bombi grooming has many trails in excellent shape.  Andy plans to work during the day clearing trails and fixing broken stuff.  Skiing should be excellent again but without the fresh cosmetic corduroy.

Big Bay Pathway:  Groomers will get out as soon as soon as possible.

South  Trails: East side of 553 is groomed and open (Jeep, Shirley’s, Chapel and Granite Point). With snow in a.m. please run lower pressure of 2-3psi. The crew will be tackling the west side of 553 today. Please be patient. Snowshoes welcome!
