Way Too Long Grooming Report: Feliz Cinco de Mayo. Sorry, no philosophical insights today. This is more of a public service announcement lest either of you think storage wax is in the forecast; it is not. Mo sent this shot of the 23k beaver pond yesterday. This is not an entry into the Last Ski to 510 as, according to the hacked anonymized data, his starting point was the 510 trail head. However, it does qualify for Last Ski of the Season honors but, based on the forecast, that competition won’t heat up until late May. Last night’s freezing temperatures will have crust skiers out and alpine skiers had better file those edges. Each night in the six day forecast calls for freezing temperatures so this show will be with us for some time to come. It’s too cold to fiber glass or paint today so the boat will sit and I’ve never seen a sock drawer or garage that needed attention less, so, the smart money is on skiing.
