Way too Long Grooming Report:
Charlie commented (correctly) that yesterday’s report came off the rails. Never accused of having rails in the past I was not sure it was possible to come off same. I am reminded of the seminal scene in Roger Rueff’s play The Hospitality Suit. If you have ever attended a trade show to sell product the scene is familiar. You spend time at the trade show looking for likely customers and explain why your (fill in the blank) is market disruptive technology or some other stretch line. He/she agrees to look at the product in your Hospitality Suite. Being undercapitalized, even having a hospitality suite in the conference hall is a big deal. If you are lucky enough to land the big kahuna, your business may take off. Anyway, in the movie adaptation, two seasoned sales people are incredulous when they learn their young rookie associate had all afternoon with the big kahuna and never bothered to mention industrial lubricants. I’ll try to at least bring up grooming details in the future.
Saux Head: Craig groomed the skate lanes Wednesday. Tracks are still good.
.
Big Bay Pathway:
The Big Bay Pathway was groomed Wednesday. Hidden Grin and Meditation are in great shape for skiing.
Bear Mountain was not groomed and needs maintenance. We will be working on it ASAP.
Fit Strip: Trails were groomed and track set Wednesday. The plan is to groom again on Friday.
Snow Bike South Trails:
South trails are groomed, firm and fast.
Snow Bike North Trails:
The following trails were groomed Sunday 1/9:
The Pines, Penstock, Lower and Upper Blue Heron, Silver Lead, Sand Box, and Collinsville.
Mildcat, Wildcat, Ramblin Man and Midnight Snack all groomed on 1/8
Mildcat and Midnight Snack still somewhat soft, other trails are firm and smooth.
The trails from Tourist Park to BLP are also in very good condition.
