Grooming January 4, 2022

Forestville:  Another skate lane cleanup on the Noque to the pines, Animoosh, Chiwaji, Bagwaji, Gookookoo, Boozhoo and Zing.   We will need tonight’s forecasted new snow to set some new tracks.

Way too Long Grooming Report:

Sorry, I got nothing.

Saux Head:  Saux Head was groomed and track set last Wednesday.  Yesterday’s report erroneously stated a weekend groom.  Regardless, trails should be in good shape give this week’s below freezing temperatures.

.

Big Bay Pathway:  I expect we need more snow and it looks like we will get it tomorrow night and Wednesday.

Fit Strip:  Groomed last week but some dirt showing.

Snow Bike South Trails:

Jeff P reports riding is now good without studs.

Snow Bike North Trails: The majority of the NORTH TRAILS received a New Year’s grooming run on Saturday to smooth out and widen the base. Continued cold temps have allowed the thin base to stay in great shape and trail conditions should be excellent on Sunday and into next week. Light flurries were falling as grooming was completed, so there may be a light powder layer on top.
