Grooming March 1, 2020

Today’s report is brought to you by Advanced Center for Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery:  Advanced Center for Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery is a Black Diamond sponsor on the NTN trails.  Without the support of folks like Active Physical Therapy we would not have the excellent trails we have come to expect.  If you see them, say thanks.

Trail sponsorships are available.  Please visit www.noquetrails.org and follow the links.  You too can be feted in an up coming grooming report.

Forestville:  Andy Bully groomed the Noque’, Animoosh and Chiwagi Bypass to 17k. Expect race ready conditions on the freshly groomed trails.  Low traffic on other trails and cool temperatures should have all trails to Co Rd 510 in very good to excellent shape.  Please do let us know what you find if you ski today.

Way too Long Grooming Report:

Sorry, no ski or bike pictures from yesterday.  I was a spectator at an athletic competition in Trenary. The “27th ever” event is a slice of Americana that is unique to this part of the world and a good time was had by all. Having been a U.P. resident most of my life I figured it was time to see it for the first time.  I had my money on “Thing One and Thing Two” but it was not to be.  It was a beautiful day to be outside regardless the activity.

Saux Head:  All trails were groomed and tracked the 28th. Trails are in great shape.

Big Bay Pathway:  Hidden Grin,  is groomed and ready for the weekend.   Still need more snow to make the trail excellent,  however it is in good shape.   Praying for SNOW!!!

Fit Strip:  Neil groomed all trails Monday the 24th.

North Trails comments:

All trails in the north system were groomed 2/29 afternoon.

Comments:

Singletrack conditions on the north trails are fair to good/

We Plan to get out today, March 1st  for another groom
